This client instructed BB Law a few days before his trial.  We persuaded the prosecution to drop the s.172 charge (which carries a large fine and minimum of 6 points) in return for a guilty plea to the original minor red-light offence.  This was potentially a difficult task because the red-light offence was well over […]

No Insurance prosecution based on client ‘delivering pizza’ – case dropped

“Thank you very much for achieving a successful outcome in this case. I can only conclude that your personal diligence and obvious expert knowledge in the field of traffic law, was enough for the CPS to see common sense and drop the case. This is especially welcome as the process of putting myself and other family members through the ordeal of an unnecessary trial will now not have to be endured.

Throughout the case, I have been impressed with your grasp of the issues and the clear advice you offered. Although all of our conversations were conducted by telephone and e-mail, I always felt I was receiving personal service from the man whose name is ‘on the tin’.

I shall certainly recommend your services to anyone who is in need of a no-nonsense, jargon-free approach to what often seems a minefield of catastrophe, choice and chance. My sincere thanks again” – Mr A, K – Essex

Clients Feedback

Special Reasons not to endorse and Absolute Discharge for allegation of 90mph+ in a 70mph limit

“I would like to thank Bobby for his services during what I feel could have been a very stressful time. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case, especially given the fact that a lot of the evidence we were hoping to use as a defence turned out not to be as damning as we had would have liked. But he continued as per my instruction to fight my corner with a not guilty plea, and along with the additional outstanding testimony of the specialist speeding expert witness that he managed to get on very short notice, we got the outcome I was looking for. Bobby had very little defence evidence to work with, but against all odds, prepared multiple defences and got me the outcome I asked for against the testimony of two very experienced traffic officers.

The way the case was handled was impeccable from start to finish, I was kept updated every step of the way with every correspondence between the defence and the CPS, and my thoughts and ideas on the case were always taken into consideration. Bobby was available to me EVERY time I needed him, I would contact him at any time day or night, seven days a week, and he was there!! I would certainly recommend Bobby to anyone needing advice or handling of a motoring case that they feel is unjust.

Many thanks for your service, I’ve retained a clean licence and have a new found faith in the justice system!” – Mr E, W – Walsall

Fail to identify driver – cloned vehicle defence

“Our company was being prosecuted for failing to identify the driver of a van caught by a speed camera. We were convinced that our van had been cloned but the police and CPS wouldn’t believe us. Bobby represented our company throughout the proceedings and fought tooth and nail for us, which eventually resulted in the CPS lawyer offering no evidence halfway through the trial. We were thrilled that Bobby had achieved what we always wanted in this case, which was for justice to be done. The court agreed to refund all of our costs. We would not consider using any solicitor other than Bobby if we have any problems like this in the future” – Mr A, E – Walsall

6 Points for alleged 114mph on motorway

This client was summoned for an allegation of speeding at 114mph, however, the client was adamant that he was going no faster than 105mph. BBLaw were able to secure a guilty plea on the basis of the 105mph and subsequently secure 6 points rather than a disqualification, which was absolutely vital as far as this client was concerned.

“Hi Bobby. Just wanted to email you to thank you for your excellent and thorough service throughout my case. Your advice was absolutely spot on. I hope I never need to go through this process again, however, If I do, your number will be the first I phone. I will also be 100% happy to recommend you services to anyone who require legal motor advice. The case proceeded in exactly the manner you advised it would, and it was that knowledge that helped me achieve the best possible result given the circumstances. Many thanks” – Mr P, K – London
