This client instructed BB Law a few days before his trial.  We persuaded the prosecution to drop the s.172 charge (which carries a large fine and minimum of 6 points) in return for a guilty plea to the original minor red-light offence.  This was potentially a difficult task because the red-light offence was well over […]

No Insurance – case dropped before trial – wasted costs application against the CPS

“I just thought I would write the following for you,

Bobby is a very concise lawyer, with every single piece of legal advice you could ever need. He looks at all possibilities and gives you a full picture of what may happen. I cannot recommend him highly enough, his method, welcoming nature, are all great assets and leaves you feeling very confident about his abilities. He is always available via phone and has an extremely patient manner. Bobby also went the extra distance in my case and went to get my costs back through the court and prosecution. The fact he even did this without asking humbled myself and my family and we cannot thank him enough. I thoroughly recommend you to go with Bobby if you have any motoring incident involving police or otherwise. He does what is required and beyond.” – Mr S, C – Leeds

Clients Feedback

6 Month ‘Totting Up’ ban avoided against all the odds

Even though this client had no grounds to argue Exceptional Hardship, we still managed to get his Totting Up ban reduced to 2 months rather than the usual 6 month minimum. It’s too complicated to explain on here how we did it but this is what the client had to say –

“Dear Bobby. Thank you for your superb advice and advocacy which led to an excellent result in my recent speeding trial. I was very impressed by how fast you responded to all of my questions (much faster and more flexible than more traditional ’9 to 5′ lawyers) and the quality of your advice was always accurate and clear. Your representation at the trial was very impressive and got the results I was looking for. I won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone I know who is looking for professional legal advice. Best regards” – Mr J, H – Bury St Edmunds

Special Reasons not to endorse and Absolute Discharge for allegation of 90mph+ in a 70mph limit

“I would like to thank Bobby for his services during what I feel could have been a very stressful time. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case, especially given the fact that a lot of the evidence we were hoping to use as a defence turned out not to be as damning as we had would have liked. But he continued as per my instruction to fight my corner with a not guilty plea, and along with the additional outstanding testimony of the specialist speeding expert witness that he managed to get on very short notice, we got the outcome I was looking for. Bobby had very little defence evidence to work with, but against all odds, prepared multiple defences and got me the outcome I asked for against the testimony of two very experienced traffic officers.

The way the case was handled was impeccable from start to finish, I was kept updated every step of the way with every correspondence between the defence and the CPS, and my thoughts and ideas on the case were always taken into consideration. Bobby was available to me EVERY time I needed him, I would contact him at any time day or night, seven days a week, and he was there!! I would certainly recommend Bobby to anyone needing advice or handling of a motoring case that they feel is unjust.

Many thanks for your service, I’ve retained a clean licence and have a new found faith in the justice system!” – Mr E, W – Walsall

Fail to Provide a Specimen of Breath (Drink Drive) – discontinued before trial

BB Law identified a procedural error with the way the intoxilyzer procedure had been conducted in this case. We then made detailed representations to the CPS, which resulted in the case being dropped. An application for costs has now been submitted. This client provided the following feedback –

“I just wanted to thank you for all your help and the exceptionally high level of specialist service I have received from you over the past few months. I know the outcome would not have been so favourable had it not been for your efforts, experience and in-depth understanding of the law in such matters. Your service has been outstanding, taking the time to reply to telephone calls and emails promptly and in depth, helping to reassure me throughout this case. Thank you once again for all your help and support. I will make sure I recommend you to everyone I know and anyone who ever asked if I know a good motoring specialist lawyer! Very Best Wishes” – Mr A, L – Bedfordshire
