This case went all the way to trial but on the morning of trial the CPS were persuaded to withdraw the fairly serious Drink Driving charge (and also a related Fail to Stop charge) after BB Law point out that the officer had made a procedural error and perhaps more importantly the officer had made inconsistent statements in relation to the issue. The client pleaded guilty to a related Fail to Report offence and walked away with 5 points on his licence, a small fine and a significant proportion of his legal costs refunded. These are his comments on the service BB Law provided to him –
“After facing a difficult case, I can honestly say that I have no regrets about selecting Bobby as my solicitor. Throughout the build up to both appearances at court he was not only there to support me, but his in-depth knowledge of driving laws gave me full confidence to put all of my trust into his decisions. With 3 charges, including an Excess Alcohol charge, he managed to convince the CPS along with some evidence to drop the Excess Alcohol and Fail to Stop in return for a guilty plea to my Fail to Report charge.
I would highly recommend Bobby for any motoring case, because he was such a help and with his fair prices it makes his service worthwhile as his desire and dedication to succeed in the court is second to none.” – Mr J, M – Staffordshire
BB Law regularly represent clients who are accused of driving off after an accident. Over the years we have developed a good understanding of how the various police forces throughout the country approach these investigations. This knowledge helps us to achieve satisfactory outcomes for our clients as quickly as possible. The following feedback was received from the father of a young female driver who was being investigated by the police for offences of careless driving, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident –
“We would like to express our satisfaction and thanks for supporting my daughter and I during our difficult time.
Upon receiving the 172 notice from the police we were totally overwhelmed with panic and stress, however once I had called you for your initial expert advice (which was invaluable) you began to relax our worst fears.
We were very impressed from the outset with no matter how many questions I asked (and I had a lot) or whatever time of day, I got a swift professional and honest response and nothing seemed too much trouble. Your fixed fee approach was clear and affordable indicating the various potential stages of the process so we knew exactly what we were committing to without the fear of spiraling costs.
Thanks to yourself the outcome proved to be successful at the first stage and the police closed the case with no further action. As you can see I have nothing but praise for yourself and the team at BB Law and would recommend you to anybody.” – Mr P, T (on behalf of daughter, R, T) – Manchester
“I’d pleaded guilty to 3 separate driving offences and the Magistrates had decided to give me 13 points, which meant a 6 month ‘totting up’ ban, revocation of my licence and re-sitting my test. As a result I was also going to lose my job. A family friend suggested I ask Bobby for help. Bobby handled my case from that point onwards, taking it all the way to the appeal court in London. In the end Bobby managed to get my conviction re-opened and then got 2 of the offences dropped, which meant I ended up with only 5 points, meaning no ban, no re-test and I kept my job! – I could not have been more pleased.” – Mr M, R – Cheshire
“The only feedback I can give is excellent for service, communication and value for money, you should be charging at least twice the amount for what you do. Thanks again.” – Mr D, L – Kent
